As an Agent with New York Life Insurance Company and a Registered Representative with NYLife Securities LLC, I am passionate about helping clients reach their financial dreams and goals.
I have been in the financial services industry for 33 years. I made the decision to join New York Life in 2008. While witnessing the “great recession” of 2007-2008, I handpicked New York Life because of its mutuality, financial soundness, and long history of doing what’s right. I wanted a company that would weather the storms. I wanted a company that I never had to make apologies for. A company that I did not have to worry about when another financial tragedy happened again. All these reasons are why I represent New York Life.
I have been a proud member of the Bay Area community for 22 years. After spending most of my life in the mid-west and mountain west, I moved to the Bay Area in 1998. I come from a large extended family where I learned integrity, sincerity, hard work and having a passion for doing the right thing.
I am not only a licensed agent with New York Life Insurance Company but I also have worked hard to obtain my FINRA investment licenses; series 7, 24, 6, 63 and 12. With these licenses I can provide a wide array of products and solutions through NYLIFE Securities, LLC and New York Life Investments.
In addition to my 33 years of experience in the financial services industry, I obtained my B.A. from The University of Utah, have completed dozens of courses from New York Life's industry leading training program; NYLIC University. I hold the CLF® (Chartered Leadership Fellow) designation from The American College of Financial Services. I am a past President of two NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) organizations in Northern California, a board member of World Access Project and a member of the marketing committee for the Silicon Valley Council Boy Scouts of America. I am a Rotarian and a Toastmaster. I am also deeply involved in providing support for the homeless in the San Jose Area. In summary, I am passionate about helping people.
